12/17/2023 0 Comments Elex 2 hand poison swordthese quests are easy, mostly talking, fetching, easy fights. they should be under the same quest tree. choose a faction early, do ONLY the quests that help you join that faction. do the quest in the first town that leads you to the other factions. Trick normal enemies, lure them to groups of other kinds of enemies or simply sneak around them.Ģ. you can come back later as a god and leave scorched earth behind. You are not supposed to kill normal enemies, you are supposed to feel weak for the first dozen hours at least. do not try to kill enemies early on unless they are labeled "weak", "small", "old" or things like that. Some general advice for this fantastic jank:ġ. ![]() Even still, that farmer gear is still quite valuable compared to the rags you start out the game with. ![]() You can usually get farmer gear or something to that effect for some money early on but you won't be able to get the good stuff until you join a faction. All weapons are hand placed and armor is gated behind whatever faction you join. One thing to consider, try finding a companion to help you because they are often very strong early in the game and can give you some easy XP by clearing out some enemies. Or, you need to find and complete more quests and win the favor of those in that faction. As for joining factions, if you aren't able to join the first major one it's possible that you did something that completely cut you off from that faction, I'm not entirely sure what that is in Elex. There are essentially no respawns and you get meaningful XP for anyone or anything you kill. What's nice about Piranha Bytes games is every kill matters. So maybe you've already noticed but there's a clear progression of enemies and it can take some trial and error to figure out which ones you can kill at any given point. Help me make sense of this silliness, Era! Is there something I'm missing? This is my first Piranha Bytes game so I'm flying completely blind and the game just seems utterly impenetrable. I've been stuck at level 8 for about 4 hours now and I have no idea how to progress or do anything else. This world seems interesting and I would love to explore it more, but I've completed (seemingly) every single quest in the first town aside from ones that require me to kill extremely dangerous enemies, and they won't even let me join their faction. EVERYTHING kills you in one or two hits, and nothing drops meaningful equipment. The difficulty makes Sekiro look like Paper Mario Sticker Star, even when you turn all the difficulty options down to make the game as easy as possible. I have literally no idea what's going on in this game. ![]() I found a copy of ELEX that I apparently had on my drawer for six months from GameFly and never actually booted up, and I started playing it last night. So I have been drowning in an abyss of pure boredom for over a week now, having finally exhausted all of my quarantine streaming content.
